DZMF series DC electromagnetic brake and Y2 series motor form YEJF series electromagnetic brake three-phase asynchronous motor. The motor has beautiful appearance, fast braking and accurate positioning. By means of automatic control, special braking functions are realized and applied to various transmission machinery.
Take the motor as an example, when the motor works, the brake is not working. When the motor stops working, the brake will be energized. At this time, the electromagnet produces strong electromagnetic force, overcomes the tension of the reset spring steel sheet, sucks the friction plate, contacts with the friction sheet, and generates friction moment, so that the rotating parts brake quickly and achieve accurate positioning. When power loss occurs, the friction plate is restored to its original position by resetting the tension of the spring steel sheet. At this time, the rotating parts are free from the restraint of the friction braking moment, and the motor shaft can rotate freely.

3. Check the air gap
As shown in the structural diagram, the moving distance between the electromagnet 5 and the friction plate 7 is called the air gap (δ). The normal working air gap (δ) does not exceed the specified working air gap value. The motor is adjusted within the initial working air gap range when it leaves the factory. After a period of operation, the air gap (δ) becomes larger due to the wear of the friction lining, which will affect the normal pull-in and braking effect of the brake. Therefore, after the motor is used for a period of time, the air gap (δ) becomes larger. , According to the air gap value, select the size of the feeler gauge, and check the size of the air gap (δ). When checking, you can directly plug the feeler gauge into the air gap (δ). If it is inserted, it means that the air gap (δ) is too large and needs to be adjusted.
4. Adjustment of air gap
Loosen the outer hexagonal screws 12 (three for DZMF05-20, four for DZMF40 and above), and use two outer hexagonal screws 12 to screw into the disassembly process screw hole of the fixed bushing 11, push out the fixed bushing 11, and follow The combination of the friction plate and the friction plate seat is also loose. Select three feeler gauges according to the initial working air gap value and insert them into the air gap (δ) marked in the figure. The three feeler gauges are evenly distributed at 120°. Use a wooden hammer to knock the fixing bush 11 in the direction of shaft extension. The bushing 11 is matched with the taper inner hole of the friction disk seat to fix the friction disk assembly, and then the outer hexagonal screw 12 is tightened. When tightened, the friction disc assembly moves out, and the feeler gauge will loosen accordingly and can be pulled out. Note that when the wooden hammer hits the fixing bush 11, it must be tightened, otherwise when the outer hexagon screw 12 is fixed, the friction disc assembly will move too much and the air gap (δ) will become larger, so we are choosing feeler gauge Coordinate with the method of debugging.
If there is no standard feeler gauge for air gap adjustment, iron sheets of similar thickness can be used instead.
