When electrified, the electromagnet produces strong electromagnetic force to suck up the armature plate to compress the brake spring. The two dual faces of the brake disc are separated from the pressure of the armature plate and the plane of the back cover of the motor, and the motor can rotate flexibly. When the power is cut off, the brake spring pressure is applied to the armature plate to tighten the brake disc and produce strong friction braking moment, which makes the rotating motor brake quickly and achieve accurate positioning.

As shown in the schematic diagram, the distance between armature plate 7 and electromagnet 9 is called air gap (δ). Normal working airgap(δ) does not exceed the specified maximumworking air gap value. When the motor leaves the factory, it is adjusted toIn the initial working air gap range, after running for a period of time, the air gap (δ) increases due to wear of friction pads, which will affect the normal suction and brakingeffect of the brake, so the motor will be used for a period of time.After that, the size of plug must be selected according to the maximum air gap value, and the size of air gap (δ) must be checked. When inspecting, the selected size of the plug ruler can bedirectly inserted into the air gap (δ), such as the plug.The air gap (δ) is too large and must be adjusted.
4、Air Gap Adjustment
DZM02-80 adjustment method: as shown in the structure sketch, the thickness of plug gauge is selected according to the specified initial working air gap value, the hexagonal nut 23 is loosened, the inner hexagonal screw 26 is loosened, and the expenditure support adjustment screw is loosened.24. Choose the size of the plug ruler and insert it into the air gap (delta) next to the loosened support adjusting screw 24. Slowly screw in the inner hexagonal screw 26, press the plug ruler, and then tighten the support adjusting screw 24.End cover 2 plane, pull out plug ruler. Fixed screw 26 has three groups. The air gap values on the edges of the three groups of screw must be adjusted to the initial working air gap values according to the above methods. The air gap values at the three places must be uniform and the best.Back screw nut 23.DZM160-900 adjustment method: as shown in the structure sketch, the thickness of plug gauge is selected according to the specified initial working air gap value, the fixed screw 26 is loosened, the adjusting screw sleeve 18 is loosened, and the plug gauge is put in.In the air gap (delta) next to the adjusting screw sleeve 18, slowly screw in the inner hexagonal screw 26, press the plug ruler, then tighten the top cover 2 plane of the supporting adjusting screw sleeve 18, and pull out the plug ruler. Inner six angle snail There are six groups of screw 26. The air gap on the edge of three groups of fixed screw with equal 120 degrees must be adjusted to the initial working air gap value according to the above method. The air gap value in three places must be uniform, and then the other three groups of fixed screw must be adjusted. The air gap (delta) next to the screw, and tighten the inner hexagonal screw 26 and the support adjustment screw 18. The adjusted air gap should be checked again with a plug ruler to prevent the unevenness of the air gap. No air gap adjustment There are standard plug rulers, which can be replaced by similar thick and thin iron sheet.
