An electrically operated brake is a connector that can transmit torque from the active side to the passive side. Then, depending on the connection, it can brake, disengage, or freely rotate. Electric brakes have a compact structure, small footprint, simple operation, sensitive response, reliable performance, long lifespan, and allow for remote control. As an automated actuator in modern industry, it is used in rotating mechanical systems for power transmission and motion control. The following is a discussion of the use of electrically operated brakes in...

Electric brake It is a connector that can transmit the torque from the active side to the passive side, and then it can be freely engaged, braked, or disengaged. The structure of the electric brake is compact, occupies a small area, the operation process is simple, the response is sensitive, the use process is reliable, and the service life is long. It can realize remote control of the electric brake. As an automated actuator in modern industry, it can be used for power transmission and control system movement in mechanical rotating systems. Next, I will talk to you about the precautions for using electric brakes.

In the electric brake, the mechanical parts that stop or slow down the movement of the machinery are composed of a brake, a brake frame, and a control device. Some electric brakes also contain an automatic adjustment device for the clearance between parts. In order to reduce the torque and its structure, it is usually installed on the high-speed shaft. However, for some large-scale equipment with high safety requirements, it should be installed on the low-speed shaft near the working part of the equipment. At present, some electric brakes have been serialized and standardized and are manufactured by professional factories. It can be widely used in machine tools, elevators, packaging ships and other machinery. It can brake when the power is off.

The electric brake applies the resistance required to stop and decelerate the rotating parts of the machinery, usually called braking torque. Braking torque is a basis for the design and selection of electric brakes. Its magnitude is often determined by the working requirements and form of the machinery. The performance of the friction material required by the electric brake often determines its working process and affects its performance. The main factors are the working temperature and the rate of temperature rise. The friction material must have a high and stable friction coefficient and good wear resistance. Currently, friction materials can be divided into two types: non-metallic and metallic. Metallic friction materials can be made of bronze, steel, cast iron, or powder metallurgy friction materials, while non-metallic materials include rubber, leather, asbestos, wood, etc.

Electric brake It needs to be used in a completely dry and oil-free state. If the friction parts are contaminated with water or oil, the friction torque will be greatly reduced, and the braking sensitivity will also deteriorate. To avoid these situations during use, please add a cover. When used in dusty places, please put the entire electric brake in a box.
