Electromagnetic brakes are ideal automatic actuators in modern industry, mainly playing the role of power transmission and motion control in mechanical transmission systems.
Elevators use electromechanical friction normally-closed brakes. A normally-closed brake means that the brake is engaged when the machine is not working and released when the machine is running. When the elevator brakes, it relies on the mechanical force to make the brake band and brake wheel friction to generate braking torque; when the elevator is running, the brake is released by electromagnetic force, so it is also called an electromagnetic brake.
The electromagnetic brake is a basic device to ensure the safe operation of the elevator. The requirements for the electromagnetic brake are: it can generate sufficient braking torque, the braking torque should be independent of the traction machine's direction; the traction motor shaft and the gearbox worm shaft should not generate additional load during braking; when the brake is released or braked, it needs to be stable and meet the working requirements of frequent starting and braking; the brake must have sufficient rigidity and strength; the brake band has high wear resistance and heat resistance; the structure is simple, compact, and easy to adjust; there should be a manual brake release device; low noise.
Electromagnetic brakes are mainly used for:
1. Packaging and packaging machinery: such as packaging machines, bundling machines, packaging machinery, etc.
2. Metal processing machinery: such as rolling mills, stretching machines, presses, welding machines, copper wall descaling machines, cutting machines, pipe making machines, winding machines, etc.
3. Electromagnetic brake machinery: lathes, milling machines, automatic CNC machine tools, special machine tools, etc.
4. Handling machinery: cranes, feeders, conveyors, winches, hoists, etc.
5. Electromagnetic brake papermaking machinery: bag making machines, carton machines, crushers, bag making machines, cutting machines, paper machines, etc.
6. Printing machinery: rotary printing machines, feeding printing machines, etc.
7. Electromagnetic brake woodworking machinery: sawing machines, woodworking machines, plywood machines, etc.
8. Electromagnetic brake Transaction machinery: electronic copiers, computers, fax machines, copper plate counters, printers, etc.
