Precautions for installing a dry-type electromagnetic brake
1. Please use the dry-type electromagnetic brake only when it is completely free of moisture, oil, etc. If moisture or oil adheres to the friction part, the frictional torque will be significantly reduced, and the sensitivity of the brake will deteriorate. Therefore, please use a cover to prevent this.
2. When used in dusty environments, please use a protective cover.
3. Please use the specifications of jis0401h6 or js6 for the length of the shaft on which the electromagnetic brake is installed. For the shaft key, please use one of those specified in jisb1301-1959.
4. Considering thermal expansion, please control the thrust of the installation shaft to less than 0.2 mm.
5. When installing the electromagnetic brake, please adjust the mechanical attraction gap to within ±20% of the specified value.
6. Please keep the bracket light and do not apply excessive pressure to the brake bearings.
7. For assembly screws, please use spring metal sheets, adhesives, etc., for anti-loosening treatment.
8. Securely connect the wires using the terminal board, etc., while maintaining the wires with the mechanical side frame.
Maintenance and maintenance methods for electromagnetic brakes
Regular maintenance is required to ensure the intermittent operation of the electromagnetic brake.
1. Regularly add lubricant to the moving parts of the electromagnetic brake.
2. Regularly check the length of the armature stroke. This is because during brake operation, the wear of the section will increase the stroke length of the armature. If the armature stroke length does not reach the normal value, it needs to be adjusted to restore the small gap between the braking surface and the turntable; if the armature stroke length is greater than the normal value, the attraction may decrease significantly.
3. When replacing the worn braking surface of the electromagnetic brake, please readjust the small gap between the braking surface and the turntable.
4. Carefully check the tightness of the bolts, especially the bolts that fasten the electromagnet, the bolts of the electromagnet and the housing, the bolts of the yoke, the bolts of the electromagnet coil, and the wiring bolts.
5. Regularly check the mechanical wear of the moving parts of the electromagnetic brake and remove dust, burrs, and dirt from the surface of the electromagnet parts.
