Excessive temperature directly affects the electromagnetic clutch or Electromagnetic brake its service life and function.

  Excessive temperature directly affects the electromagnetic clutch or Electromagnetic brake its service life and function. The standard electromagnetic clutch and electromagnetic brake operate at 24V DC. If the electromagnetic coil ensures 24V DC, the electromagnetic clutch and electromagnetic brake can reach additional torque.

  If the cable violates the electrical landscape, power current termination compensation should be added. The working voltage detected at the electromagnetic clutch terminals should exceed 10% of the additional current. The power circuit has a great impact on the performance of the electromagnetic clutch or electromagnetic brake, so the design must comprehensively consider the power circuit to meet different type requirements. The friction plate work surface must be free of grease, dust, water, etc., and the rolling bearings must be sealed. In addition, the heat dissipation system needs to be considered, and there should be heat dissipation vents on the rear cover. Avoid corrosion of the dry electromagnetic clutch and electromagnetic brake, which may reduce daily task efficiency.

  The additional resistance torque required for the DC brushless motor electromagnetic brake to stop or decelerate the mechanical equipment running components is called axial load. Axial load is an important basis for the design and use of brakes, and its level is determined by the mechanical form and operating standards. The wear-resistant materials (brake components) commonly used on brakes directly relate to the entire braking process and thus affect its characteristics. Important factors are operating temperature and temperature rate. Wear-resistant materials need to have high and relatively stable frictional resistance and good wear resistance. Wear-resistant materials are divided into two categories: metal and non-metal. The former commonly includes cast iron, steel, brass, and powder metallurgy wear-resistant materials, while the latter includes leather products, plastics, wood, and asbestos. DC electromagnetic brakes are mainly used with series motors.

  When using a DC brushless motor electromagnetic brake, please note:

  a. Please use the friction electromagnetic brake in a state without any water, oil, etc. If the friction part is contaminated with water or oil, the friction torque will be greatly reduced, and the accuracy of the braking system will also deteriorate. To prevent this in application, please add a cover;

  b. When used in places with a lot of dust, please put the entire brake in a box. Within 60KGM Electromagnetic brake A standing type can be used, and even higher models can be used;

  c. Please select the specifications for the short shaft used to assemble the brake;

  d. Fully consider various factors such as thermal deformation, and select the assembly shaft thrust within 0.2MM.
