Electromagnetic brake Because it uses an armature fixed to the input shaft and the electromagnetic coil is fixed to the end cover, it overcomes the disadvantage of ordinary electromagnetic clutches that require slip rings on the outer circumference of the rotating coil. This greatly reduces wear and ensures reliable and timely power supply to the coil. Below are some precautions.
Electromagnetic brakes have low control power and a long service life. The overall structure is simple, compact, and easy to operate, ensuring accurate engagement in a short time. The connection is reliable, and braking is flexible, allowing for automatic control and remote operation of the working mechanism. Although it has many advantages, it is important to use the electromagnetic brake in a completely dry and oil-free environment. If the friction parts are contaminated with water or oil, the frictional torque will be significantly reduced, and the braking sensitivity will deteriorate. To avoid this, a cover should be installed.

When using an electromagnetic brake, pay attention to the shaft size for mounting the brake. Use one of the specified keys for the mounting shaft. Consider thermal expansion; the axial thrust of the mounting shaft should be less than 0.2 mm. When installing the electromagnetic brake, adjust the air gap on the machine to within ±20% of the specified value. These issues should be taken seriously. Also, keep the bracket light and avoid overloading the brake bearings. For assembly screws, use spring washers and adhesives to prevent loosening. The electromagnetic brake uses the mechanical frame to support the leads and uses a terminal block for secure connection.
Through the above introduction, we have seen Electromagnetic brake what precautions need to be taken during use. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us. We welcome long-term cooperation with you. Welcome to order here.
