1. Frequency and time of use: The higher the frequency and time of use of the electromagnetic brake, the greater the wear. On the contrary, the less wear. But this does not mean that the less used the better, if the machine is not used for a long time, the service life of the machine will be shortened.

2. Maintenance degree: machines and humans need maintenance. After long-term use, in order to maintain a better condition, it is necessary to carefully inspect, maintain and replace parts.

3. The material itself: better quality materials can prolong the service life.

4. Load characteristics: related to dynamic load moment and static load moment. Large load, sudden loading, and incomplete unloading will also have a great impact on the service life of the electromagnetic brake.

Precautions for electromagnetic brakes

1. There should be no oil stains on the surface of friction plate and armature, and keep it clean;

2. Ensure the air gap during installation;

3. The gear sleeve must not move axially;

4. After installation, unscrew the hollow bolts and lock them on the back end cover or flange of the motor.

Electromagnetic brake operating conditions

The electromagnetic brake with power loss has the advantages of compact structure, simple operation, sensitive response, long service life, reliable use, and easy to realize remote control. Then it needs certain conditions at runtime:

1. The relative humidity of the nearby air will be lower than 85%.

2. There is not enough gas and dust to corrode the metal and damage the insulation in the surrounding medium.

3. Class B insulation is used near the power-off brake, and the voltage fluctuation is less than 5% and 15% of the rated voltage. Its working mode belongs to continuous working system.

4. When installing, ensure the matching accuracy between the drive shaft and the power-off brake. The brake disc of the power-off brake is used without oil contamination.

Common faults and treatment methods of electromagnetic brakes

1. High conductivity measures: replace the internal cooling circulating water; replace the resin used for filtration

2. Water level drop measures: Check for leaks in the hard pipes of the water system when pouring steel, and deal with them in time; after stopping pouring, open the mold protection box, check the hose body and joints, and deal with the problems in time.

3. Electromagnetic brake grounding fault measures: Preliminarily judge the position of the faulty coil, open the mold protection box after stopping pouring, check the wear of the connector and cable sheath, and deal with the problem in time; if it still does not recover, stop using the electromagnetic brake. Do further inspection and repair after offline.

4. Liquid level fluctuation and abnormal display measures: stop the electromagnetic brake. If the liquid level returns to normal, check the compensation card and parameters after stopping pouring, and adjust them in time; if the liquid level does not return to normal, consider the fault of the liquid level detection system
